The Ontario Power Authority (OPA) is responsible for the development of the Integrated Power System Plan - Ontario's long-term plan for achieving a reliable, sustainable and affordable supply of electricity.

Ontario Power Generation (OPG) is an Ontario-based electricity generation company whose principal business is the generation and sale of electricity in Ontario.

The Ontario Energy Board (OEB) is the regulator of Ontario's natural gas and electricity industries. The Board also provides advice on energy matters referred to it by the Minister of Energy and the Minister of Natural Resources. The Board is a self-funding Crown corporation without share capital.
